Rise: Remember Who You Are

Rise is not about grinding harder.

Rise is about remembering.

It is about reclaiming autonomy.

It is about stepping out of inherited scripts and into self-authorship.

It is about this truth:

“Otro mundo es posible.” Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional
”Another world is possible.” Zapatista Army of National Liberation

In your life.
In your relationships.
In your lineage.

About Me

Rosa Diaz, LMFT 157196

My name is Rosa Diaz. I am a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Reiki Master. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. My personal journey includes navigating life as a previously undocumented immigrant, growing up as a preacher’s child, and serving as a family caregiver for a loved one with a chronic illness that ultimately ended in death. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the ways identity, family, culture, spirituality, loss, and resilience shape our lives and relationships.

My clinical experience spans a range of settings, including county mental health outpatient programs, field-based crisis intervention services, adult correctional facilities, and private practice. Working across these diverse environments has strengthened my ability to support individuals navigating complex mental health challenges, life transitions, trauma, grief, family conflict, and systemic barriers.

I believe that healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted. While my work is grounded in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I also recognize the importance of honoring each person’s unique story and lived experience. I strive to create a collaborative and compassionate space where clients can explore challenges, deepen self-understanding, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I offer Reiki as a complementary, holistic service designed to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. Reiki is an energy-based practice that can help reduce stress, promote a sense of calm, and enhance your body’s natural capacity for healing.
While I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Reiki sessions are offered as a separate, non-psychotherapy service. They are not a substitute for mental health treatment, diagnosis, or clinical care, but rather an optional addition for those seeking a more integrative, mind-body approach to wellness.
Clients often choose to incorporate Reiki alongside their personal growth journey to deepen relaxation, reconnect with themselves, and support emotional balance in a gentle, non-invasive way.
